Something that we've discovered since we've been on the hunt for beautiful, off-the-beaten-track hideaways since we started 'Piglet Stays' is that there are so many to choose from. Not only that, since our travel habits have shifted slightly over the last few years - with people now opting for staycations where they would once always choose a trip abroad - there are even more hideaways popping up all the time. Whilst this is a wonderful (and more sustainable) shift, it does mean that finding the right location for you and your needs can be a bit overwhelming.
Enter: Kip Hideaways, a membership-based website that only features gorgeous self-catering hideaways that come personally recommended and curated by the experts at Kip. What I really love about Kip Hideaways is how honest and impartial the reviews are, making you aware of any potential drawbacks so you can find the hideaway that's going to fit your unique requirements.
Kip Hideaways has around 200 under-the-radar retreats to choose from and so I do recommend browsing their entire selection via their website (you'll need to become a member to unlock the reviews), but below we've linked just some of our favourites.
This cozy converted mill, located a short walk away from the Welsh town of Abergavenny, sleeps up to eight people and allows dogs. We're lusting over the rustic walls, vintage furniture and idyllic courtyard.

If 'secluded' is high on your list of hideaway needs, this pared-back eco cabin located in the Scottish hills 30 minutes from Edinburgh may be the retreat for you. Sleeps two and furry, four legged friends are welcome.
